Jakarta, this bustling 24 hour city is the largest in South East Asia with a population of more than 10 Mio and more than 30 Mio in the suburbs. In Jakarta is also the largest Mosque in South East Asia. The Istiqlal Mospue has a capazity of 120.000 people and is next to the Jakarta Cathedral. From there you can see the Jakarta Monument with its 120m tower. The observation deck is crowded with young pupils from all over Indonesia. Waiting for hours in front of the lift to get up to the top or to take a picture with you.

Walking around in Jakarta requires a steel-lung and some courage to cross the mainroads with no crosswalks and its always running traffic. When you wanna cross a street, never run, never stop keep going forward and the cars and motorbikes will flow around you.
